Happy No. 2 for Drew

Drew Gillispie will now be banging on the drum all day.
He has Aunt Sara and Uncle Jason to thank for that. However, his parents, Matt and Cori, may not be so thankful for the loud noises now coming from their house.
In fact, Cori even has a gift picked out for Sara and Jason’s son Hunter, who will turn 1 in the spring.
“We will be buying Hunter an electric guitar when the timing is right,” Cori said.
Well the Gillispie family may have its own youth rock band, as Turner also owns a toy guitar and loves to sing. For the time being, Drew will have to enjoy his new birthday gift.

Drew celebrated his second birthday on Sept. 8. For his special day, he was joined by his parents, both sets of grandparents, Uncle Jason, Aunt Sara, Hunter, Uncle Ryan, Aunt Kristin and Parker. The group headed to Power Play (a giant arcade).
They started off with a game of bowling, but soon realized a 2-year-old’s attention span wasn’t long enough for bowling. So they headed to the rides and games and Drew was in heaven.

Drew and Parker rode the “choo choo train” and swing. Both children loved the rides. They also ran around together playing games. After all of the excitement at Power Play, the party headed back to Matt and Cori’s house.
There they were treated with pizza, cake and ice cream. Some of which, might have given the birthday boy a bit of a ‘sugar high.’ Despite the excitement, he still opened his gifts and immediately began playing with his new toys.
At the end of the night, the birthday boy took a picture with his sister Alli, and cousin Hunter.
