Update From Austin, Texas

The Gossiper has finally obtained rights to print a story about our family down in Austin, Texas. The Gossiper has worked for months to gain access into the lives of family members who live in the great state of Texas to get an update on how well they are doing. Alejandro and Leonardo started school at the end of August. Alejandro is already in the 4th grade, where has the time gone? And Leonardo joined his brother at St. Andrews Episcopal School, in which he started the 1st grade.

And apparently Leo turned 7 years old on October 5 (sorry Leo we didn't have your birthday on the blog, but we have it now). For his birthday, Leo and some of his friends went to see the movie Igor after playing outside, eating cake and pizza. After the movie, the gang headed back home for fun and games. First was a pinata and then there was silly string. Leo and the kids had a great time!!

Last but not least, Mary and Alex headed out west to Napa at the end of September. Jim and Vivian flew down to Austin to watch the kids while their parents went with two other couples out to California for a getaway vacation.

The couple had a wonderful time out in California with their friends. "We drank and ate entirely too much, but really enjoyed the beautiful setting," Mary said. The couples traveled there in the middle of September and returned a week later. But I know the couple was excited to be back home with their kids! Hook 'em Horns!
