Matt Finishes Dissertation, Becomes Doctor

CONGRATULATIONS MATT on finishing your dissertation and receving your PhD in Speech-Language Pathology. After a long road, you are finished! Matt just finished his dissertation at KU and will receive his doctorate this year. On the KU website, it says that Matt's interests "include the assessment and intervention of infants, toddlers, preschool, and school-age children with speech, language, and literacy disorders. In addition, he is interested in assessment and intervention considerations when working with Native American children." Once again, great job Matt and I'm sure I speak for the family when I say that we are proud of you!!

Congratulations, Matt!! We always knew you would complete your doctorate -- it was too important to you not to finish. Just look at what you have accomplished in the last 4 1/2 years: you married Cori; the two of you now have two beautiful, wonderful children; and now we get to call you Dr. Matt!!!

Quite an accomplishment---being a good man, getting Cori to say, "Yes", being a good son and brother, being a good husband and father---oh yea, the doctor thing---we're proud of your intelligence and diligence, too. But, most of all, we love ya because of your virtuous heart. Keep up the good work.

Rumor has it that you relied heavily on Bones for arcane information that supported your thesis. Early evidence supports that this rumor originated on a Baldwin blog; however, the blogger could not be identified because of anonymous posting. (My money's on Tommy Green.)

We bow to your accomplishment.
