Team trivia anyone?

Calling all Kansas family members:

This is Jimmy making this post. I just wanted to let all of you know there is team trivia in Lawrence Monday through Friday nights, and some Saturday nights. It’s a fun 2 hours of trivia and hanging out and good food, too.
I play the team trivia with my friends about 2 or 3 times a week and we do well most of the time. Anna and Leslie have played, with Anna playing more this summer. Howard even played once.
Here’s how it is played. There are 6 rounds of 3 questions with a 4-part halftime question and a final question. The trivia jockey gives you 3 categories per round. Then he asks a question and you have the length of the next song to turn your team answer in to him. It’s really simple.
The top 3 teams get gift certificates from that restaurant/bar. The top prize is $50, 2nd is $20 and 3rd is $10.
I think it would be fun to have some family members play once a week, because I’m sure we’d do well, we are a smart family when it comes to trivia. So here are the locations and times:

Monday — The Yacht Club @ 7:30 p.m.
Tuesday — Jeffersons @ 8 p.m. and Salty Iguana @ 8 p.m.
Wednesday — Wayne & Larry’s Bar and Grill @ 9 p.m.
Thursday — Old Chicago @ 9 p.m. and Buffalo Bob’s Smokehouse @ 9 p.m.
Friday — 6th Street Applebees @ 9 p.m.
