Panthers Ready to Roll in 2008

With one pre-season game under their belt, the Carolina Panthers look for a better season in 2008. To help the team reach their goals this year, the team will need all the support they can get. That includes support from the equipment team. And with additions like Casey Green, the team is in good hands.

Casey joined the Panthers as an intern in their equipment department, getting the gear ready for the boys on Sunday. With training camp closing up and the beginning of the season right around the corner, Casey has little time to adjust. But with the great experience he got at the University of Kansas, he will do just fine.

The panthers opened their pre-season against the Indianapolis Colts and defeated them in overtime, 23-20. But the Colts were missing their star quaterback, and Julius Peppers took advantage. Coming off a disappointing season, Peppers is looking to once again be a force to be reckoned with.

Casey left Lawrence at the end of May to join the team in Charlotte, and has been with the team throughout mini camp and training camp. And he is looking forward to opening weekend of the NFL. Earlier in training camp, star wide receiver, Steve Smith, got into a fight with a teammate. Luckily nobody was severely injured, and Casey did not get hurt. Be sure to catch the Panthers when they are on TV this fall, you might catch a glimpse of our family member doing what he loves!!
