Get to know your Gossiper producers

This is the first of a three-part segment about getting to know your Gossiper executives a little bit better. We will also be doing a similar thing for each family in the near future.

1. Full Name? James Joseph Gillispie

2. Your hometown? current residence? Baldwin City, KS

3. Where did you go to high school? college? what did you study? I went to Baldwin High, then moved on to Baker University - same town. I graduated in 4 1/2 years while also running on scholarship at Baker for 4 years. I would like to add that I never missed a meet or a race, injury or sickness never got me! I finished every race I started in high school and college. I studied journalism and got a mass communications degree. Right before graduation, a job opening at the Baldwin City Signal came up and I applied - got the job and been here 4 years now.

4. Number of siblings? 4

5. Favorite Color? don't like the question - but I guess blue

6. Favorite Food? Tacos or chicken strips

7. Favorite Hobby? It used to be running, now it might be playing Rockband or the Wii. I have to include ultimate frisbee in there too or football.

8. Pets and names? I don't have any but I consider myself a partial owner of Petrie and Parker b/c I lived with them for a year or 2.

9. Dream vacation destination? Either a safari in Kenya or San Diego

10. Dream Spouse? if you were single and could marry anyone alive? most people know this already — Natalie Portman :) :) :)

11. Favorite TV Show? Seinfeld, but South Park is a close 2nd

12. Favorite Song? "Stairway to Heaven" by Led Zeppelin or "Sultans of Swing" by Dire Staits

13. Favorite Movie? Jaws

14. Favorite Book? Green Eggs and Ham

15. Most memorable childhood experience? I think it would be our family vacation to St. Louis or Kentucky

16. Do you have any nicknames? yes, too many, Bucket, Jimmy, Jimbo and many others

17. What are some of your pet peeves? people who are always late

18. Describe yourself in one word. goofy

19. Worst job you've ever had? never really had a bad one, only had 4 jobs, worked them all for 3-4 years
