On Christmas Day, it was announced that Presley was victorious in the first-ever Gillispie family pet contest.
Unfortunately, the Green family wasn't in Lawrence for the holiday, so Presley had to wait a week or so to receive his prize. Presley was given a large candy cane chew toy was winning the contest.
The other entries in the contest were given two small candy canes to eat. The other entries were Luna, Seamus, Petrie, Parker, Marley and Captain. The Gossiper wants to thank everyone for their votes and entering their pets.
We also want to thank everyone, especially certain aunts and uncles, that tried to rig the voting or cheated a bit in some contests.
